PigOS — frequently asked questions

Everything about what PigOS does, pricing, data privacy, and how it works.

What is PigOS?

PigOS is an AI-native operating system for pig farm operations. It connects farm records, KPI benchmarks, AI risk signals, and instant reports into one platform — helping producers identify losses before the month ends.

Who is PigOS for?

Farm owners, farm managers, veterinarians, and production consultants. Any size farm — from under 100 sows to 1,000+. Supported regions: Korea, US, Southeast Asia, Latin America.

How is PigOS different from other farm software?

Traditional software waits for all data before showing insights. PigOS proposes likely values first and lets your team confirm — reversing the input burden. It also includes AI loss detection and a natural-language advisor.

What is the Morning Brief?

Every morning, PigOS surfaces your top 3 priority actions — based on overnight AI monitoring of your farm data. No dashboard-diving required. You open the app and act on what matters most today.

Is PigOS available outside Korea?

Yes. PigOS supports farms in Korea, the US, Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand), and Latin America. Available in 6 languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai.

How much does PigOS cost?

The Core — farm records, KPI dashboard, and country benchmarks — is free to start, with no credit card. AI analysis, reports, and advanced insights run on prepaid credits, so your cost stays predictable instead of pay-later usage billing. Credit-based plans are being validated with pilot partners.

Is my farm data private?

Yes. Your individual farm data is kept private to your account and is never sold or shared in an identifiable form. Anonymized, aggregated use happens only if you give separate opt-in consent.

Can PigOS diagnose disease or predict ASF?

No. PigOS is a farm-operations OS, not a veterinary diagnostic tool. It flags anomalies in your operational data and recommends checks, but it does not diagnose disease or predict African Swine Fever (ASF). The operator always makes the final decision.

Does PigOS work on mobile and offline?

Yes. PigOS is mobile-first: you log farrowing, weaning, and mating events from your phone, and record entry works offline, syncing when you are back online.

What are PSY and MSY, and how do the benchmarks work?

PSY (pigs weaned per sow per year) and MSY (pigs marketed per sow per year) are the core productivity KPIs for a sow herd. PigOS compares your numbers against country-level reference ranges shown as industrial-farm public benchmark ranges — not national averages. See the Benchmarks page for details.
